InkRadar is operated by:

2. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the InkRadar platform available at inkradar.eu. By creating an account or using InkRadar, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
3. The Service
InkRadar is a platform that helps users discover tattoo studios and artists, view portfolios, follow shops, send messages, and interact with content. Tattoo shops and artists may create profiles, upload images, publish posts, and manage their presence on the platform.
InkRadar is a marketplace and discovery tool. It does not provide tattoo services, medical advice, or act as a party to any transaction between users and tattoo professionals.
InkRadar may update, improve, suspend, or limit parts of the service at any time where reasonably necessary for technical, legal, or security reasons.
4. Eligibility
InkRadar is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older, consistent with the minimum legal age for tattooing in Belgium and most EU member states. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. InkRadar reserves the right to terminate accounts found to belong to minors.
5. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You may not impersonate another person, artist, or business.
- You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or platform restriction.
- InkRadar may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse, fraud, or repeated policy violations.
6. Tattoo Shop and Artist Profiles
Shops and artists are responsible for the accuracy of the information they publish on their profile. Profile information, images, and posts are visible to other platform users.
Claim requests for shop profiles must be honest and submitted only by people who are genuinely authorized to represent the relevant business. InkRadar may review, reject, or revoke ownership claims where fraud, error, or insufficient proof is identified.
Where InkRadar requires verification documents such as hygiene diplomas, these must be genuine. Submitting false documents may result in permanent account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.
7. User Content
You remain responsible for the images, text, posts, and profile information you upload or publish. By submitting content to InkRadar, you confirm that you have the rights needed to publish it and that it does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
By posting content, you grant InkRadar a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to host, store, display, format, and distribute that content solely for operating, promoting, and improving the platform. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to any operational backup retention period.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Upload unlawful, defamatory, hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, or copyright-infringing content
- Submit false shop claims or misleading business information
- Publish fake reviews, manipulate engagement, or artificially inflate metrics
- Attempt to hack, scrape, overload, or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
- Circumvent security controls or access data you are not authorized to access
- Use the service for spam, harassment, fraud, or illegal commercial activity
- Use automated tools to access or extract platform data without prior written permission
9. Search Ranking Integrity
InkRadar's search and discovery results are based on objective factors including distance, selected tattoo style, experience, and profile completeness. Premium subscription status does not purchase search rank placement or guaranteed visibility above non-premium profiles.
10. Pricing and Subscriptions
InkRadar offers optional paid plans that unlock additional platform features. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. All prices listed are in euro and include VAT where applicable under Belgian and EU rules.
10.1 Artist plans (monthly subscription)
- Artist Free — 0 €/mo (default).
- Artist Premium — 4.99 €/month, VAT included. Expanded portfolio, flash, and art portfolio image limits.
10.2 Shop plans (monthly subscription)
- Shop Free — 0 €/mo (default).
- Shop Premium — 9.99 €/month, VAT included.
- Shop Gold — 19.99 €/month, VAT included. Unlimited approved artists and expanded event allowance.
10.3 Organiser event fees (one-time, per event)
Event organisers pay a one-time fee per published event, sized by the maximum number of participating artists:
- Small event — 19 € one-time (up to 10 artists), VAT included.
- Medium event — 50 € one-time (up to 40 artists), VAT included.
- Big event — 150 € one-time (40+ artists), VAT included.
Organiser fees are not subscriptions and do not renew. One fee applies per event.
10.4 Right of Withdrawal (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m))
InkRadar's paid plans and organiser event fees are digital services within the meaning of Directive 2011/83/EU. Under Article 16(m) of that Directive, the ordinary 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to digital services once performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal will thereby be lost.
- Before being redirected to Stripe, every paying user is shown a pre-checkout disclosure listing the price (VAT-inclusive), the renewal cadence (for subscriptions) or the one-time nature of the fee (for organiser events), and cancellation instructions.
- The user must tick an explicit checkbox stating that they understand and expressly waive their 14-day right of withdrawal so that service can start immediately. Without that tick the "Continue to payment" button stays disabled.
- By ticking the waiver checkbox and completing payment, the user (a) gives express consent for immediate performance of the digital service, (b) acknowledges the consequent loss of the 14-day withdrawal right, and (c) accepts these Terms of Use.
- This waiver applies equally to artist and shop recurring subscriptions and to organiser one-time event fees, since all three are digital services that begin immediately after payment.
- If, exceptionally, a user has not ticked the waiver (for example if a payment link was used outside the standard checkout flow), the statutory 14-day withdrawal period continues to apply in accordance with Belgian and EU consumer law.
10.5 Invoicing
Invoices are issued automatically by Stripe on the operator's behalf after each successful payment. Every invoice is available for download from the Stripe-hosted billing portal, which users reach from their InkRadar account settings ("Billing"). B2B customers who need a VAT number on their invoice must enter that VAT number in the Stripe billing portal before payment (or add it to their Stripe customer profile); InkRadar cannot retroactively add a VAT number after the invoice has been generated. Invoices are issued under MrMurido, VAT BE0886.227.632, Rue Piquet 12, 7500 Tournai, Belgium.
10.6 Cancellation
- Recurring subscriptions (Artist Premium, Shop Premium, Shop Gold) can be cancelled at any time from the Stripe-hosted billing portal, reachable from your InkRadar account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; paid features remain active until then.
- Organiser one-time event fees are not subscriptions and cannot be "cancelled" for renewal purposes.
- Because performance of the digital service begins immediately on payment and the user has expressly waived the 14-day right of withdrawal at checkout, InkRadar does not offer refunds for partial billing periods or for unused portions of organiser event fees, except where mandatory Belgian or EU consumer law requires otherwise.
- Paid features do not guarantee business results, leads, bookings, or revenue.
- InkRadar reserves the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers.
11. Intellectual Property
The InkRadar brand, platform design, software, and original platform content are owned by or licensed to InkRadar's operator, except for user-generated content which remains owned by its respective creators. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of InkRadar's intellectual property to users.
12. Availability and No Warranty
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. InkRadar does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that all listings, posts, claims, or interactions will always be accurate or complete.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable Belgian and EU law, InkRadar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the platform. InkRadar's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to InkRadar in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under Belgian consumer protection law or EU law.
14. Third-Party Services
InkRadar relies on third-party services including Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), Plausible (analytics), Leaflet/OpenStreetMap (maps), and Google (OAuth sign-in). InkRadar is not responsible for outages, policy changes, or failures caused by those third-party services.
15. Termination
InkRadar may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or violation of these terms. Users may delete their account at any time from account settings. Upon account deletion, user-generated content and personal data will be removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising from the use of InkRadar that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence within the EU.
EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Updates will be published on the website with a revised date.
